Vellum Envelope Card Notice how the pale yellow vellum envelope softens the colors used on our stamped image.  This is a good technique to use with any of our pastel colored envelopes.  The lemon eyelets used to attach the envelope to the card match perfectly. Items used: D4802- flowers in vase Vellum Envelopes - yellow Memory Box Cards - natural duplex Prismacolor Pencils Three Flowers The three yellow flowers were made by setting three scalloped eyelets. The small leaf stamp was stamped in lime to make the flowers stand out.   Items used: A4678- leaf Scallop eyelets - yellow Memory Box Mini Card - pale chartreuse Colorbox ink - lime Summer Bright Flower Card The bright colors of this card make it get noticed.  We simply stamped the same flower stamp three times using three new Brilliance ink colors.  We then embellished the flowers with bright eyelets to finish off the card. Items used: B4685 - flower block Eyelets Brilliance ink - yellow, orange and red Rainbow Butterfly Card We love the colors of the new Brilliance rainbow pad called Peacock.  We used it here to ink the Savvy butterfly stamp.  We attached the piece of white paper to the lavender paper and the meadow colored card with 3/16" white eyelets. Items used: 3/16 eyelets Brilliance ink - Peacock Memory Box Cards Hibiscus Card Stamping the two new stripe stamps in opposite directions makes a great plaid background for the solid hibiscus flower.  We attached the stamped paper to the cardstock with eyelets.   Items used: Eyelet kit - pastel C4809 - solid hibiscus E4813 - thick stripe E4814 - 2 line stripe Memory Box Cards - ivory rib Colorbox ink - parchment, smoke blue, moss Daisy Card The soft pallet of the pastel eyelets make perfect centers for the daisy stamp!  We stamped the oval block first using parchment ink.  This is a color of ink you want to have.  It makes great backgrounds and works well with the trendy colors of this season.  The daisies were stamped over the oval using lavendar and the congratulations stamp was stamped in moss green Items used: Eyelet kit - pastel B4465 - daisy D4734 - oval block A4715 - congratulations Memory Box Cards - ivory rib Colorbox ink - parchment, smoke blue, moss Bunny Card Using the new bunny punch, we punched the shape out of a white piece of paper. We cut 4 small pieces of mounting tape and mounted the paper over a slightly larger piece of silver text paper. This technique is fun to use with the punches as it gives a shadowy effect. We then mounted these layers on a card we made with the pink and white paper. We added the 3/16" white eyelet and put a piece of white ribbon through it. We love using the Midori white ribbon. If you can only buy one bolt, this is the one to get. It goes with everything and is not a boring white. It almost seems to reflect the colors used and adds so much to every card you use it on. Items used: Bunny Punch Silver Text Paper 3/16" Eyelets - white Midori ribbon - white Circle Card It's a birthday party and what a fun invitation to get it started. We cut two circles of contrasting paper. Using a 1 inch circle punch, we made a window for the party information which was hand written. The two layers were attached with the eyelet. We didn't set the eyelet as tight as normal so the card would pivot. (Hint: When setting eyelets, never try to set it with one blow of the hammer. Rather set it with several taps so you can monitor it.) The cover was printed using the computer and our heart vellum. The buggy was stamped on the vellum using robins egg blue. We then stamped the rectangle block using parchment colored ink on the cardstock that the vellum layer is attached to. Blue eyelets to match our blue ink were used to bind the book.
