Cut a piece of black paper so it's the width of the card you want to decorate.  Using a 3/4" circle punch, punch three circles across the paper.  Cut a smaller piece of gold text weight paper to back this piece.  Glue this band onto your base card and then glue three of the pumpkin confetti to the center of each circle.  The shine from the metallic paper makes the pumpkins stand out.

Make any card into a house by cutting off the top to a point.  The door was cut (notice the fun irregular shape!) and then backed with a piece of black cardstock.  A mini black brad was used for the door's handle.  A small square punch was used to punch out the window.

Our bright orange vellum is fun to work with.  Here a piece of vellum was cut so it perfectly fit on the bottom half of a melon colored Memory Box slim card.  We lightly sprayed the vellum with spray adhesive to make it stick.  Notice the shape of the piece of orange cardstock the cat was stamped on.  It adds a fun touch.

You'll love the new spider punch.  Here we attached orange vellum to the card using two black eyelets.  We then drew a simple web for the background for our spiders.  They were attached to the card using double stick mounting tape so the spiders stick out a little from the card.  In the right light, you actually get a shadow effect!  Notice how the bottom spider is set so his legs go off the orange vellum.  It's a nice touch.

A decorated muslin bag makes a great treat bag.  We often use just regular Colorbox ink on fabric we don't intend to wash.  That's what we did here.  We stamped the dot stamps using orange and black ink.  Attached to the sack is an orange vellum envelope. Notice how you get a hint of what's inside. That's one of the neat features of vellum.

I love window cards. Here we used a circle punch on the front of the card to create the window. We then punched a circle out of contrasting paper to represent the moon. Crafters' Glue was used to glue on the ghost buttons. The greeting was stamped in white and then embossed with white embossing powder.

The silver ghost card is easy to make but very effective.  Simply tie on the charm with orange gingham ribbon to a small rectangle of silver text paper. The color of the silver paper enhances the beautiful color of the silver charm. Mount this onto a rectangle of black cardstock and then onto an orange card. Stamp happy halloween in black.

GOOD SPIRITS
Who says your white silver rimmed circle tags have to stay white? Here Jennie used a dauber and Colorbox colors olive, ochre, and terra cotta to give her tags a unique look. The new Halloween greeting was stamped in black. The main card was stamped twice with the diamond background stamp. First it was stamped with ColorBox ochre and then positioned differently and restamped with parchment. To complete the card, Jennie used a 1/8" anywhere hole punch to attach the tag to the card

HAPPY HAUNTING!
As the seasons change, we're inspired to use new colors. Here Jennie used canary, marigold and terra cotta ColorBox ink on the Impress block to set the tone for her Happy Haunting card. She inked the block with color and then used a dauber and a black Colorbox pad to give a dark edge to the image before stamping. By clicking on the picture, you'll get an enlarged version of the card and you'll be able to see even better what we're talking about. This artistic trick gave the perfect look for a Halloween card. The Happy Haunting stamp was stamped in black.
