Velvet Heart Card
The subtle impression this technique gives makes this card interesting. To make, we placed the stamp rubber side up on our ironing board and then layed the velvet paper over it velvet side down. We placed the iron (no steam and avoid the steam holes) on top of the paper and held it in place for about 30 seconds. This technique works best with a more solid type image. The deckled scissors were used to give the straight edges of the silver paper a softer look in contrast to the bold lines of the stamp design.

Double Heart
The photo of this card does not do the "Moon Glow" justice. The subtle shimmer of this powdered pigment is really beautiful. This card, made by Dave was first stamped and then embossed. Using the new Versamark pen, he applied clear ink to the areas where he knew he wanted to add the color. Using a dry brush, he applied the pigments.

I'm Attracted to You!
A handmade gift for friends and loved ones is always appreciated. Using our great new glue, we simply glued the heart gems to our super strong magnets. Packaging is everything and we used the smallest size metal tin to hold these magnets. Using our computer, we printed out the words "I'm attracted to you!" onto our favorite silver text weight paper and then punched out the shape with a circle punch. We punched out a 2" heart for the top of the lid.

Glitter Heart Card
If you haven't ever used Prisma Glitter, you'll want to give it a try. It really does make a card sparkle. When we want to put glitter all over the whole surface of a card, we use spray adhesive first and then sprinkle it with glitter. We trimmed the silver text paper with our deckle scissors and layered it on a piece of white paper. We punched a hole with our 3/16" anywhere hole punch and then inserted the glitter heart button. Click on the picture and you'll see how we secured it.

Beaded Box
Insert pink candies and this beaded mint container would please any friend. To make, we first stamped an image on a piece of colored card stock. Then we cut a piece of "Peel n Stick" paper the same size as the box. (hint- Ink the top of the tin and stamp it onto the "Peel n Stick" paper to get an exact outline of the lid. You can easily wipe the ink off the tin and the smooth surface of the sticky paper liner.) We then positioned the "Peel n Stick" paper over our paper with the stamped image on it. We cut out the shape, peeled off the top sheet of the sticky paper, and then applied the beads. This piece was attached to the tin with double stick tape.
