Easter Bunnies
The printed Savvy Cards
were used to start this Easter greeting. These cards are green on
the bottom and white on the top half. The white pinked strip in the center
was made with pinking scissors. After the strip was cut, it was glued to
the center. It's a simple detail that adds both dimension and style to the
overall look of the card.
Items used:
C4943 - bunny egg

This stamp looks great if
you ink it with watercolor markers and use two different colors. After
stamping the image, the frame of the square vellum tag was glued to the card to soften the
bright look of the stamped image.

Fence Card
This clever card shows what
you can do with a bit of imagination. Taking the large solid tulip stamp,
we only inked the greenery from that stamp and add eggs for
flowers. Notice the nice shading on the picket fence. It was done by
laying a piece of scratch paper down to mask the edge and then adding ink with a
dauber. Click on the picture to see the greeting inside.
Items used:
E4544 - large solid tulip
B4790 - small egg
ColorBox ink - marigold, heliotrope, aqua, moss green

Place Card
Notice
how the eggs are double stamped on this sample. First they
are stamped in their main color. Then they are masked and
stamped slightly off center to create a shadow. Using an
exacto knife, cut around the top of the eggs. Once
the place card is folded the eggs really stand out.
The soft color of the colored pencil used to write the
guests name, adds the finishing touch.
Items used:
Impress Easter Egg - large
Colorbox ink - seaglass, orchid, canary, heliotrope

Tag
Card
Take a close look and you'll see that this card is
actually a jumbo shipping tag folded in half. We stamped
it using the dot stamp with silver ink. Click on the photo
to see the inside of the card. The vellum insert was
attached to the tag with the satin ribbon which when tied
also adds a decorative touch.
Items used:

Bunny
Charm Card
The beautiful detail of the bunny charm makes this
handmade card a gift in itself. The bunny charm is hollow
on the back side so we used mounting tape to attach the
charm to the blue circle tag. The silver layer was added
to accent the other silver elements in this card. We used
our 1/8" anywhere hole punch to make the hole in the
card that lines up with the hole in the circle tag. To
finish, the pieces were tied together using Midori ribbon.
Items used:
Silver rimmed circle tags - blue
Silver text paper
Memory Box Cards - pink |

Bunny
Punch Card
Double sided adhesive (Peel N Stick) was layered on top of
a piece of pink paper. Then the bunny was punched out. We
peeled off the top of the double stick sheet and applied
the clear beads. The bunny was then mounted on a small
piece of celery colored card stock. The piece was framed
by the mini square window.

Bunny punch
Beads
Peel N Stick
Memory Box Mini Square - chalk |

Bunny
Oval Card
One of the neat things about rubber stamps and punches is
that 10 people can own the same image but the projects
they make with it will all look different. Here we
did the same technique with the bunny punch as on the card
above but we chose to use the oval cards and layers with
the angel lace paper.
Items used:
Bunny punch
Bead
Peel N Stick
Angel Lace Paper
Memory Box Oval Cards - butter
Memory Box Oval Layer - pink |
