Happy
Mother's Day
What Mother can resist flowers? Here we used the
basic 2 inch square punch to make a window for our dried
flowers. We punched a window in our card. To make
the meadow colored frame, we punched a window in that
color paper and then trimmed it so the sides were only
1/4" wide. The frame was then glued to the
front of the card.
Items used:
Microfleur
Impress paper - meadow, bluebell |

Bouquet for Mom
The wavy bouquet was stamped and then colored in. A
perfect bow for mom was made with the bow maker and then
glued to the card with crafters glue, a great glue to use
on flexible surfaces.
Items used:
Colorbox ink - cyan
D4775 - wavy bouquet

Happy
Graduation
Gift
enclosures are quick to make especially when working with
charms. Here we used the silver graduation charm.
This charm comes with a ring to attach it to the card
with. If you don't want to attach the charm with a
ribbon, simply twist off the ring by holding it with a
pliers or wire cutters. It's a good trick to use
when you think a piece of ribbon will distract from the
design of the card. Here we glued the charm to
the card. Congratulations was stamped inside.

Wishing
you . . .
The
checked background on the base card (made by repeatedly
stamping the square block) adds a fun touch to this card.
Notice the narrow blue layer under the white stamped
piece. We love to use this technique when designing
a card. The narrow edge of the blue layer highlights
the blue flowers. It's just like matting a picture.
The color of the mat you choose can really affect the
total look of the project.
Items used:
Duplex Paper - bluebell, meadow
Prismacolor pencils
D4805 - grid vase/flowers
C4548 - lg rectangle block
Colorbox pad - sky blue, olive |

Tulip
Card
Here's a basic card layout that we like to use a lot. By
simply changing the punch or by using a different stamp
you can make a card for any type of occasion. This spring
card was made by decorating the block prints with two
colors of punched out tulips. We attached the front layers
to a Memory Box card that we trimmed to make a square.
Items used:
Tulip Punch
Memory Box Cards - pink
A4703 - Tiny solid square
Colorbox ink - canary |
