A Dinner Invitation
Once you start using the
metallic text weight paper, you'll love it. This invitation was made by
punching out the
silverware in a piece of paper. We then punched out a scalloped
square around it so the silverware is centered. We backed the cutouts with a small piece of gold
metallic paper. This touch of gold dresses up the invitation.
The card stock is Fabriano. Whenever you use it, it adds a touch of class.
Items used:
Punch - silverware

using your punches as it adds a lot of interest to your punched out shapes.

Thank You Card
Using a background stamp to
decorate the mini white envelope really changes the look of the envelope.
It's a good technique to remember. The envelope was also decorated with
two great punches. The scalloped flower and the fern. Tuck in a
little personal thank you note and your card is
finished.

Purse Card
The purse shaped punch was used
to make this fun card. I love the colors used. The basic card is a
Memory Box color called Hyacinth. Bluebell cardstock was used for an
accent. The ink used with the block stamp was parchment. It
makes a great background for the purses and is a color that we find we often use
at Impress.
Items used:
Punch - purse
Cardstock - bluebell, hyacinth
ColorBox ink
- parchment

Floral Bouquet Card
To make this card, start
out by stamping the Impress rectangle block to make a pot. Punch out the
small flowers using pink and celadon duplex paper. The small flower is a hand held
punch. The other flower is the small scalloped flower punch.
The leaves are made using the ash leaf punch. Double stick tape is used on a few of the
flowers to create a 3D effect. Notice the small border of blue that mats
the white rectangle. It really makes the floral arrangement pop stand out
and gives the card and eye catching look.

Frog
Card
The
whimsical frog punch makes a great summer card. First we
stamped the 4 line background stamp with olive
ink. We then punched out the frogs and attached
them to the card using mounting tape so they stick out
from the card and add a 3-d effect. We finished off the
card by stamping a greeting.
Items used:
4633B - four lines
Punch - frog
ColorBox ink - olive
