Use the wavy square punch to make this cute drink. Simply fold
back the sides to make a glass and add sparkes to the top
edge. A circle of orange vellum makes the garnish, a narrow
strip makes the straw. Use glue stick to attach the vellum.
Think Spring Basket
Punch flowers out of two colors of vellum paper for a
great look. Notice how the orange sparkles add a nice color
contrast.
Happy Fourth of July
By using the hand held star punch, you can quickly give the
narrow stripe stamp a patriotic feel. Of course the red, white
and blue theme is perfect for a fourth of July party.
You're a Star
"Cut out a small square of white card stock and then stamp on it with the dotted background stamp using canary yellow ink. Using foam mounting tape, attach the square to the daffodil colored card. Punch out a yellow star and attach with foam mounting tape. "
Window cards are fun and easy to work with. You get to start with that perfectly aligned window already cut, all you have to do is decorate it! Here we added three flowers. Notice how the stems are glued on the inside of the card and the flower heads peak out the front.
Three Daisies
It seems we never tire of the fresh look of daisies!
The daisy punch, is one of the most popular punches at
Impress. Colored mini brads make great centers.
Thank You Card
Using a background stamp to decorate the mini white envelope really changes the look of the envelope. It's a good technique to remember. The envelope was also decorated with two great punches. The scalloped flower and the fern. Tuck in a little personal thank you note and your card is finished.
The whimsical frog punch makes a great summer card. First we stamped the 4 line background stamp with olive ink. We then punched out the frogs and attached them to the card using mounting tape so they stick out from the card and add a 3-d effect. We finished off the card by stamping a greeting.
Floral Bouquet Card
"To make this card, start out by stamping the Impress rectangle block to make a pot. Punch out the small flowers using pink and celadon duplex paper. The small flower is a hand held punch. The other flower is the small scalloped flower punch. The leaves are made using the ash leaf punch. Double stick tape is used on a few of the flowers to create a 3D effect. Notice the small border of blue that mats the white rectangle. It really makes the floral arrangement pop stand out and gives the card and eye catching look."
