The background paper for this card was cut from a piece of
12" x 12" paper that already had some printing on it. A dauber was used
to highlight the center of the card and then the distressed LOVE stamp was
stamped over it. A heart was punched out of the peel n stick and clear micro beads were applied to
it before being placed over the stamped image.
First ink the solid heart, then ink the dotted flourish and stamp
that (kiss) directly on the solid heart stamp. Then stamp the solid
heart on your card.
After stamping the scalloped heart, we applied a thin layer of
rubber cement to the heart. Impress glitter was added to that to
make the heart look like a sugar cookie!
We made giant flowers like this for our window display. It looks
so fun. Punch out your favorite small heart punch, gently fold the
hearts in half to give some dimension to your finished flower.
Attach the brad, then tuck in each folded heart after applying a dot
of crafter's pick on the tips.
Create your own coupons using your computer. Don't forget to
stamp a background. Make two slits in the card
and attach ribbon, tying it on the inside of the card with a simple knot.
Slide the coupon through the ribbon loop on the front of the card.
Frame for Artwork
The heart flower wreath makes a great frame for the soldered
jewelry piece. The base card is a pink arturo.
Make your chandelier sparkle with ice stickles. We added a brad to the
top for additional detail. This chandelier stamp is one of our most
popular images.
Stamp the Valentine candy stamp on different colored papers using
black ink. Cut each heart out using your detailed scissors and then adhere to
a piece of white vellum that's the same dimensions as the
envelope. Enclose that piece in a white vellum envelope
to soften the colors.
The envelopes are attached to the jumbo shipping tag by the back
of the envelope's flap. That way the recipient can flip up the
envelopes and take out the little messages.
It's fun to punch out shapes on printed paper. The heart
is glued to the card on the left. The right side of the heart just
tucks into the slit to close. Click on the photo to see the card opened.
Use your wavy punch to make your card look like a box
of conversation hearts! The words were printed in 8 pt font
on colored cardstock. They were then punched out using
a small heart punch.
