This fun invitation is sure to draw attention. Notice the
beaded center on the flower. It's a nice touch. Click here to download the shape of
the purse when open.
Cut the pattern out and then fold into thirds to make your
own purse card. This could make a fun card for Mom too!
A total of six punched out butterflies were used to make this
card. The three clear vellum shapes were layered over the
butterflies punched out of the blue and polka dot paper.
Butterflies on Fence
I love the use of striped paper for the fence on this
card. It's not the paper used here but the striped paper
in the cosmopolitan paper packs would look great on a
card like this. Simply
cut one edge of a small rectangle with a pinking scissors
and you have a picket fence! The butterflies are made with
the butterfly square punch.
Pinwheel Card
The pink and yellow combination used here just looks like spring.
To make the pinwheel, start with a 2 inch square piece of
vellum. Mark the center of the square and then cut
in from each of the four corners to within about
1/4" of the center dot. Fold in one point at each corner to
the center until you have a pinwheel. Use a mini brad to
attach to the card.
Grass dried in the microfleur was used on this card. It's the perfect
background for our dandelion stamp. I love the detail of
the banner on this card. Double stick mounting tape is
placed behind it to make it stand out from the card.
Notice how
the front pocket is stamped for added interest.
Download the pattern and print onto colored cardstock.
Cut out the body and score on the dashed line
using your ruler and burnisher. Fold the sides panels back,
apply glue and attach to your card. Embellish the
bag with punched out flip flops. Click here to download the pattern.
Want to give your graduate a gift of money? Simply
take an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock and fold in
thirds. Then punch out a rectangle shape on one end.
Tape a vellum envelope under the cut out and insert with
graduation confetti you've punched out. The eyelet and
black ribbon adds a decorative touch.
