Use a 4.75 x 12" piece of duplex paper to make this card. Fold
the paper in half so your card will 4.75" x 6". Cut out your
your tree shape on the front half. With the card folded,
take a pencil and mark where you
want the slits to be on the bottom half. Cut the slit
using your exacto knife with your metal edge ruler as a guide.
Stamp and emboss your greeting.
Start with a 11" x 5.5" piece of card stock. Make three mountain
folds with the last fold slightly smaller than the other two.
This will be the front of the card. Punch out two same size
circles for each of the ornaments. Insert the bottom half
of the spiral clips between the circles when you glue them
together. Make the little ornament caps using silver metallic
paper and a scalloped rectangle punch. Fold the punched
out shape in half and then trim to the width you want and glue
to the front of the ornament. The photo ornament was done using an option on Kodak's
free photo software called "coloring book". It changes an
ordinary colored photo to what's shown for a fun look. This
card fits in an A2 size envelope.
Snowman Card
This easy to make snowman card uses our great new
imprinted ribbon.
We love the delicate and lacey look achieved when we
glued several small fern shapes on the card to make a
tree. A touch of sparkle was added with a few small
rhinestones.
