As you've probably noticed, at Impress we love to
embellish cards. First stamp the background with petal
pink ink, a soft pink ink that's perfect to use with the
blocks. Then glue on the champagne glass charm with
Crafter's Pick. The beads are also glued on and here's
the trick. Take the lid off your glue and use your
needle tool to put just a dot of glue where you want the
beads to be. This glue is so great, all you need is a dot to hold the
bead in place and you avoid a messy glue job!
We love our wedding dress design. Here we stamped it
with white pigment ink on a piece of satin ribbon.
To add a touch of elegance and to accent the dress
detail, clear beads were sewn on the ribbon.
The satin ribbon was attached to the card using a piece
of the white sheer ribbon.
"Personalize your wedding with handmade favors. This little
triangular box starts out as a flat
sheet of paper. The names and date were printed using a computer.
The flower stamp was stamped over the printing using
yellow ink. We used a 1 inch circle punch
to punch out the circle shape and this was glued to the
circle tag. "
Tie the Knot
Have fun using your computer to make personal greetings for
your cards. Print your greeting first and then add the
heart shape. Notice the creative use of font styles. It adds a lot to the card.
"To make this personalized wedding favor, we printed
the names and dates using our computer and a color
printer. The printed vellum was then layered over
the stamped image."
